American Car Culture in Japan is AMAZING! You’d Never Guess That The Japanese Would Be This Ate Up With Old American Cars!
In the mid to late 1990’s there were a bunch of custom mini trucks and fullsizes that got bought at truck shows all over and then sent overseas to Japan. I had a friend who got an offer on his S10 Blazer that he just couldn’t pass up, and after using the money to build a different truck they contacted him to buy that one too. There were lots of cars and trucks going to Japan and it blew me away. I had no idea they were that into our cars and trucks, but man they were. And 30 years later the Japanese love American cars even more. You gotta see what it is like there.
