Ineos Grenadier Letech marks advent of AGMC

Everyone loves the classic Defender; may be the Ineos Grenadier loves it a little more. A brand inspired by the old Defender it is bold, raw and extremely capable. I have felt that it resembles the G Wagon just as much as it is inspired by the Defender – after all this one is made in Germany too! Last week, Grenadier teased us with an even more irresistible glimpse of itself – the Letech edition – just to announce their new dealership. But who’s complaining? The Ineos Grenadier looks even better fitted with the Letech portal axles, renowned worldwide for their outstanding off-road properties and reliability. And by the way, AGMC is their new representative in the UAE.

Capability enhanced

The Grenadier is equipped with a 3.0L Turbo engine producing 282 hp and 450 Nm transferred to the wheels through an 8-speed automatic. Every inch of its 504 cm is covered in rugged practicality, needless to mention raw machismo in shiny metal. It has a feature called toot button other than its regular horn to send out a shrill warning to animals in the vicinity while exploring the wild!

Now, Ineos Granadier has added a new dimension to its capability with the new LeTECH edition with the famous Letech portal axles. Capability begins with ground clearance, which has been lifted by 186mm for a total of 450 mm along with an insane wading depth of 1050 mm. Grenadier has an approach angle of 45.4º and departure angle of 45º. Thanks to a Central Tire Inflation System, air pressure can be changed to suit bad roads, snow or sand – all while driving!
