HARBOR FREIGHT FAB TABLE MODIFICATIONS: Combining Three Tables To Make One Big 3’x6′ Table On A Budget.
We’re fans of the Lower Class Fab YouTube channel and have featured it here on BANGshift.com before. I’m a minitrucker, and these guys build some fun mini trucks and full size rigs, and are never afraid to cut something up. In some recent videos they have been building a pretty trick custom full chassis for a buddy’s truck, and we all know that having a good fab table really helps when it comes to building a chassis that is symmetrical, square, and true. But man they aren’t cheap!
Unfortunately, the companies that have been offering more affordable high quality fabrication table kits aren’t finding nearly the same success as the companies offering small cheap options or incredibly high dollar options. I don’t understand this, but from what I’ve heard it is the case.
What we’ve seen instead are people taking some of the ultra cheap options and then modifying them to create bigger and more useful tables. That’s what is going on in the video below from Lower Class Fab. They are taking three small Harbor Freight fab tables and putting them together to make a bigger table that is 3’x6′ instead of just the small 3’x2′ that they come in.
Is it going to be the flattest table ever? Is it going to rival a table that cost $10,000? No, but it might be just what you need for your garage.
We’re all about creative solutions and we dig this one.
Check it out and let us know what you think.
