Rimac’s Newest 2,107-HP Nevera Founder’s Edition Is the Rarest Nevera of Them All

A Small Club Gets Smaller
Picture the regular Rimac Nevera: just 150 units built, so rare that most people will never see one on the road. But Rimac didn’t stop there. The Nevera R takes that scarcity further, adding more power and a sharper focus on track performance, with only 40 examples available worldwide. If 40 cars still feels too common, Rimac has just narrowed the field even more.
Meet the Nevera R Founder’s Edition, limited to just 10 units worldwide. According to Rimac, the Founder’s Edition is a “deeper connection to what makes Rimac unlike anything else.” Of course, all 10 cars found owners within days, quietly offered to select individuals who wanted something even more personal than the standard Rimac hypercar.

What Makes the Founder’s Edition Different
Underneath, the Founder’s Edition keeps the Nevera R’s core, with four electric motors producing up to 2,107 horsepower, armed with Rimac’s own torque-vectoring system. The numbers are as wild as you’d expect: 00-60 mph in 1.66 seconds, 268 mph flat out. In 2025, the Nevera R set 24 world records, proving that this low-slung electric hypercar is more than style or rarity.
What makes the Founder’s Edition unique is how owners get involved. Buyers fly to Rimac’s campus in Zagreb to spec their cars in person, working directly with Mate Rimac and his team. Instead of picking from a menu, they use real-time visualization tools to shape every detail. Outside, each car gets a two-tone paint scheme that follows the body’s lines, making the car look even lower. A razor-thin center stripe, just 0.08 inches at its narrowest, runs along the roof with subtle nods to Rimac’s tech-driven identity.

A Very Exclusive Hypercar Circle
The Nevera R Founder’s Edition is all about bespoke details in the cabin. Handcrafted leather upholstery, one-off colors, and embroidery that highlights Rimac’s milestones set each car apart. The seats are arranged asymmetrically, just like Mate Rimac prefers in his own car. Every interior is customized for the owner, not built around a standard template.
Rimac hasn’t announced pricing of the Nevera R Founder’s Edition, but the standard Nevera already starts at around $2.1 million, and the Nevera R costs even more. With just 10 Founder’s Editions and the perks that come with them, it’s safe to say this version goes far beyond the base price – possibly double. At this level, the wealthy owners are more than merely purchasing a car. They’re joining one of the most exclusive hypercar communities anywhere.
